(GREASE) is a European Erasmus+ project that aims to train a new generation of educators specialized in sustainable and green food practices. The project responds to an urgent need: each European citizen wastes an average of 280 kg of food every year. GREASE tackles this issue by equipping teachers, trainers, and professionals with the skills and tools to educate about responsible food consumptionwaste reduction, and green entrepreneurship.

Through digital resources, innovative training modules, and international collaboration, GREASE promotes:

  • Green skills for a more sustainable food system
  • Responsible consumption and circular economy
  • A brand-new profile: the European Green and Sustainable Food Educator

The project brings together partners from Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Cyprus and Poland, creating a European network for change in food education.
